Klipy asks two questions before it does anything else:What language should Klipy use?
Klipy prepares your drafts, summaries, and suggestions in the language you choose. These are personal settings—each team member sets their own. Pick the language you use with most of your clients and contacts. You can change this later in your personal settings.Which channels should Klipy focus on?
Tell Klipy which channels carry your most important conversations—email, meetings, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or a combination. This is also a personal setting—your channel focus doesn’t affect how Klipy works for other members of your workspace.
Connect your email
Connect Gmail or Outlook via OAuth. This is the step that unlocks Klipy.Click Connect Gmail or Connect Outlook, authorize access, and Klipy begins working immediately.
What happens when you connect
Klipy reads your email history and does five things in the background:1. Builds your contact graphKlipy imports your contacts and scans recent email threads to understand who you talk to, how often, and in what context. The result is a relationship map of your most important accounts—not just a flat contact list, but a picture of who matters and where conversations stand.2. Reconstructs your conversationsEvery significant email thread gets analyzed. Klipy pieces together the full arc of each conversation: what was discussed, what was promised, where things were left. Threads you haven’t opened in weeks get the same attention as the one in your inbox now.3. Surfaces hidden dealsKlipy flags threads that look like active or stalled deals—conversations with buying signals, open questions, or no reply in a while. Deals you’ve forgotten about or deprioritized appear here. Each one shows what happened and suggests a next step.4. Generates to-do suggestionsBased on your conversations, Klipy creates a prioritized list of actions: follow up with this prospect, respond to this question, re-engage this account. Each suggestion links directly to the relevant thread so you have context in one place.5. Prepares your first draftsFor the most time-sensitive suggestions, Klipy writes a draft—a follow-up email, a re-engagement note, a reply. Drafts are written from the actual conversation, in your voice, using the language you selected during onboarding.All of this happens without you doing anything after the OAuth connection. Within a few minutes, you have a full picture of your pipeline.Accept your first suggestion
Open your approval queue. You’ll see the to-do suggestions and drafts Klipy prepared from your email history.Read through the first suggestion. If the draft looks right, edit it if you want, then approve it. That sends the email.Accepting your first suggestion is the moment Klipy starts delivering real value. From here, every new email, meeting, and conversation adds to the picture.
