Klipy’s notetaker is on by default. Once your calendar is connected, Klipy will join every meeting that has a video conference link — Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams — at its scheduled start time.Documentation Index

How auto-join works
When you connect your Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, Klipy scans upcoming events. Any event with a supported video conference link (Zoom, Meet, or Teams) will automatically get the Klipy notetaker booked in. The notetaker joins as “Klipy Notetaker” and starts recording when admitted. After the meeting ends, Klipy processes the transcript and generates a summary, action items, and follow-up suggestions in your dashboard.Checking your auto-join setting
Auto-join is a personal setting. Each team member configures their own. Enabling it for yourself doesn’t affect your teammates.
Excluding specific meetings
You don’t have to accept notes for every call. You can configure Klipy to skip certain meetings:- By keyword — exclude meetings with specific words in the title (e.g. “team standup”, “internal”, “1:1”)
- By participant domain — exclude meetings where all participants share an internal email domain (e.g. skip any call with only @yourcompany.com attendees)

Making sure the bot gets into the meeting
Even with auto-join enabled, the notetaker needs to be admitted from the waiting room by the host. The bot will appear as “Klipy Notetaker” in the participant list. If you’re the organizer, admit the bot as soon as you see it in the waiting room. If you’re a participant, the host needs to admit it.Why didn't Klipy join my meeting?
