There’s no self-serve “Delete account” or “Delete my data” button in Klipy today. Deletion is handled by our support team on request. Before requesting deletion, you can export your contacts to CSV on a paid plan. Deals, companies, notes, tasks, and interactions have no export option today, so save anything you need first.

What you’ll see

Look through Klipy’s account and workspace settings and you won’t find a “Delete account,” “Delete organization,” or “Delete my data” control anywhere, including on the account page itself. There’s no confirmation dialog to stumble into and no hidden menu item, because the control simply isn’t there. What you will find is an export option under Settings > Import & Export. On a paid plan, this lets you download your contacts as a CSV file. On the Free plan, the same screen shows an upgrade prompt instead of an export button. Either way, the export only ever covers contact records, and nothing else in Klipy has an export path today: If you’re planning to leave Klipy or want a backup before requesting deletion, this is the gap to plan around: your contacts can leave with you, but your deal history, company records, notes, tasks, and logged interactions currently can’t, since there’s no export button for them. There’s also no full-account export: exporting everything Klipy holds about your workspace in one file isn’t something the product does today.

Why it happens

  • No self-serve deletion yet — account and organization deletion in Klipy isn’t a self-serve feature today.
  • Groundwork exists, but isn’t connected — Klipy’s database has fields meant to track a deletion in progress, but nothing in the product actually writes to them.
  • Support runs it manually — a manual process purges an organization’s records, but it has to be triggered directly by support. No button or menu item in the app starts it, whether you want your whole account gone or just specific records removed.
  • Export is contacts-only, by design — deals, companies, notes, tasks, and interactions aren’t wired into the export tool yet, so requesting one of those record types isn’t possible through export today.

What to do now

1

Decide what to back up first

Since deals, companies, notes, tasks, and interactions can’t be exported, copy anything you want to keep from those records manually (screenshots, copy-paste into a document, and so on) before requesting deletion.
2

Export your contacts

If you’re on a paid plan, go to Settings > Import & Export and export your contacts to CSV. On the Free plan, this screen will prompt you to upgrade instead of showing the export button.
3

Contact support with your deletion request

Reach out to Klipy support and describe what you want deleted, your account, your whole organization, or something more specific. Our team runs the deletion manually; there’s no in-app trigger for it yet.

Can I ask Klipy to delete only some of my data?

Yes, but it’s the same support-mediated process as a full account deletion, just scoped down in the request you send. Klipy doesn’t have an in-app control to delete a single deal, company, note, or contact in bulk, or to purge one data type while keeping the rest, so a partial request goes through support the same way a full account deletion does. Under GDPR and similar data-protection regulations, you also have the right to ask Klipy to access, correct, or delete your personal data specifically. That right works the same way today: contact Klipy support or email privacy@klipy.ai with what you’re asking for, and the request is handled manually rather than through a self-serve control. Whether you’re asking for a full account close-out, the removal of specific records, or a GDPR-style data request, the starting point is the same conversation with support.

When to contact us

Reach out any time you want your account or your organization’s data deleted, whether that’s everything or just specific records, or if you’re unsure what a contact export will and won’t include before you request it.
Not today. Klipy’s export tool only handles contact records. Deals, companies, notes, tasks, and interactions have no export route, so copy anything you need from those manually before requesting deletion.
No. Contact export requires a paid plan. On the Free plan, the Import & Export screen shows an upgrade prompt in place of the export button.
No. Klipy’s export tool covers contact records only. There’s no full-account or full-workspace export that bundles deals, companies, notes, tasks, and interactions into one file.
There’s no bulk or single-record delete control for this in the app today. A request to remove specific records goes through Klipy support the same way a full account deletion does.
Yes. Under GDPR and similar regulations, you can ask Klipy to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact Klipy support or email privacy@klipy.ai with your request; it’s handled manually, the same as any other deletion request.
There’s no published fixed turnaround. Once support receives your request, the deletion is run manually on our end, and we’ll confirm with you once it’s complete.
