Where do I turn on the daily brief?
Klipy’s daily brief is a delegation, not a general settings toggle, and it’s off by default. You turn it on and manage it at app.klipy.ai/delegation/daily-brief, alongside Klipy’s other built-in delegations.1

Turn it on
Enable the daily brief delegation. It’s off by default, so Klipy sends nothing until you enable it here.

Set your days and time
Choose what time you want the brief to arrive. Left unchanged, it defaults to 8am on weekdays (Monday to Friday) — Klipy doesn’t send it on weekends by default.

Check your timezone
Klipy sends the daily brief based on your account timezone. If your set time and your actual local morning don’t line up, check your timezone under your account settings.
Where do I turn on the pre-meeting brief?
Klipy’s pre-meeting brief is a separate delegation from the daily brief, managed at app.klipy.ai/delegation/meeting-brief. Turn it on there and pick which connected inbox account it should use. Unlike the daily brief, there’s no time to set: once enabled, Klipy fires the pre-meeting brief automatically about 30 minutes before every external meeting on your calendar. Meetings where everyone is internal to your own organization are skipped, since there’s no outside relationship for Klipy to brief you on. The pre-meeting brief needs the same kind of connection as the daily brief: a connected email account so Klipy can see your calendar and your history with the people you’re meeting. Until that’s connected, app.klipy.ai/delegation/meeting-brief shows the delegation as not configured.What’s inside each brief?
Klipy’s daily brief and pre-meeting brief cover different ground, because they’re answering different questions — “what does my whole day look like” versus “what do I need to know for this one meeting.” The daily brief has five parts: relationships that need you now, relationships going quiet, today’s calendar, a scoreboard of pipeline metrics, and a one-line summary of the day. It’s a wide-angle view across everything in your pipeline, not tied to any single deal or contact. The pre-meeting brief is narrower and arrives per meeting: who’s attending from outside your organization and their history with you, the related deal’s stage and value, a summary of your last conversation with them, and anything that’s changed since you last spoke. It’s built to be read in the few minutes before you join the call. Both briefs are read-only digests — Klipy is telling you what it sees, not asking you to approve or send anything. Confirm the delegation is enabled
Visit app.klipy.ai/delegation/daily-brief or app.klipy.ai/delegation/meeting-brief and check the status. If either shows as off or not configured, turn it on and confirm you have a connected email account.

Check your timezone and send time (daily brief only)
The daily brief sends based on the time and timezone in your settings. Double-check both if it seems to be arriving at the wrong time, or not sending at all. The pre-meeting brief has no send-time setting to check — it’s always ~30 minutes before the meeting.

Remember a quiet day or meeting can mean a short brief
If there’s nothing new in your pipeline and no follow-ups due, the daily brief can be short or effectively empty — that’s expected, not a sign something’s broken. Similarly, a pre-meeting brief for a contact Klipy has little history with will be shorter than one for a long relationship.

Klipy skips the pre-meeting brief for meetings where every attendee is internal to your own organization, since there’s no outside relationship history to brief you on.

Try Send me one now (daily brief only)
Use the “Send me one now” button on app.klipy.ai/delegation/daily-brief to rule out a timing issue. If that arrives but your scheduled brief hasn’t, the delegation itself is working and the issue is specific to the schedule.
When to contact us
If a brief’s delegation is enabled, your connected inbox is healthy, and (for the daily brief) your timezone and send time are correct, but you still never receive it, reach out through the Get help option in Klipy’s Help menu.
