Klipy never sends a message — email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Telegram — without your explicit approval, and that holds even in Auto mode. Auto mode lets a delegation apply CRM updates (deal stages, fields, records) directly instead of asking first, but it doesn’t extend to sending anything. Suggestion mode, the default, asks before every CRM change too.

What does “never without me” actually cover?

Klipy’s approval rule is specific: no email, LinkedIn message, WhatsApp message, or Telegram message ever leaves your account without you approving that exact message first. This applies everywhere Klipy could draft an outbound message — a built-in delegation like Prepare email drafts, a custom delegation you’ve built, or Hey Klipy chat — not just one surface. In practice, this means every draft Klipy prepares lands in a queue for you to review: the exact wording, the recipient, and the send action all wait for you. There’s no setting anywhere in Klipy, including Auto mode, that skips this and sends on your behalf. If you never see a draft you expected, it’s still sitting in that queue rather than having gone out without you. This is simply how Klipy is built, not a special mode you opt into — every outbound message works this way, for every user, by default.

What does Auto mode change, and what doesn’t it touch?

Auto mode is a per-delegation setting that changes how CRM updates are handled — nothing else. When you turn Auto mode on for a delegation, that delegation applies its CRM writes directly: updating a deal stage, filling in a field, or creating a record without stopping to ask you first. Auto mode does not touch outbound messages. Turning it on for a delegation has no effect on whether Klipy can send an email or message on its own — that still always requires your approval, exactly as described above. Auto mode is also a choice you make per delegation; it’s never the default, and turning it on for one delegation doesn’t turn it on for the others.

What happens by default, before I turn Auto mode on?

By default, every delegation runs in Suggestion mode, not Auto mode. In Suggestion mode, a proposed CRM change — a new deal, an updated field, a stage move, a new contact — is held as a suggestion for you to accept or reject, rather than applied straight away. Nothing changes in your CRM from Suggestion mode until you act on the suggestion. Building or editing a delegation itself follows the same pattern: when you set up a new delegation or change an existing one through Klipy’s delegation consultant, nothing is created or changed until you approve the specific setup you’re shown.

Where do Klipy’s own emails come from?

A small number of emails come from Klipy directly rather than through your connected mailbox, and they’re never sent from your own address. Meeting recaps are sent from recap@assistant.klipy.ai. Booking and scheduling mail — like a confirmation when someone books time with you — is sent from hello@scheduler.klipy.ai. Klipy only sends from your own address after you’ve reviewed and approved a specific draft yourself. These automatic recap and booking emails use Klipy’s own addresses instead, precisely so they’re identifiable as coming from Klipy rather than appearing to be a message you personally wrote and sent. Klipy never impersonates you.

Does Hey Klipy chat follow the same rule?

Yes, and Hey Klipy chat is actually more conservative than a delegation by default. Any CRM change Hey Klipy chat proposes while you’re talking to it always waits for an in-chat approval, regardless of whether a delegation elsewhere in your account has Auto mode turned on. Hey Klipy chat doesn’t have its own Auto mode setting — every CRM write it suggests shows up as something for you to approve in the conversation before it takes effect.

When to contact us

If you see a CRM record change or an outbound message you don’t remember approving, reach out through the Get help option in Klipy’s Help menu. Include which record or message it was and roughly when you noticed it, so the team can check what triggered it on your account.
No. Auto mode only applies to CRM updates — deal stages, fields, and records. Every outbound email or message, regardless of any delegation or mode setting, sits in your drafts queue until you review and send it yourself.
Suggestion mode, the default, holds a delegation’s proposed CRM changes for you to accept or reject one at a time. Auto mode, which you turn on per delegation, applies those same CRM changes directly instead of waiting for your approval. Neither mode changes how outbound messages work — those always need your approval either way.
Meeting recaps send from Klipy’s own address, recap@assistant.klipy.ai, rather than from you. That’s intentional — it keeps automatic recap mail clearly identifiable as coming from Klipy instead of looking like something you personally sent.
No. Every CRM write Hey Klipy chat proposes waits for your approval in the conversation, even if you’ve turned on Auto mode for a delegation elsewhere in your account. Hey Klipy chat doesn’t have an Auto mode of its own.
No. Klipy only sends from your own address after you’ve approved a specific draft. Automatic mail Klipy sends without a draft step, like recaps and booking confirmations, comes from Klipy’s own addresses instead, never yours.
