What each area does
Screenshot coming soon: home screen with callouts on Hey Klipy bar, Next up card, Needs review card, Rest of day card, and Meeting brief card
Hey Klipy
A single input bar near the top of the page where you can ask Klipy anything — “help me draft a check-in email,” “review my pipeline,” or “find contacts I should check back in with.” Clicking it opens Klipy’s full assistant so you can ask your question and get an answer sourced from your own data.Next up
A card listing what’s left on your calendar for the rest of today — the meetings you haven’t gotten to yet, grouped together when they run back-to-back. This only shows if you’ve connected a calendar; see Connecting email and calendar if you haven’t yet.Needs review
A card of things Klipy has drafted or found that are waiting on you — suggestions, draft replies, and similar items pulled from your connected channels. If there’s nothing waiting, the card tells you plainly that you’re caught up rather than showing an empty box.Rest of day
A short rundown of what’s still ahead of you today, once your calendar and other commitments are accounted for.Meeting brief
Prep for a meeting that’s starting soon or already underway — attendees, deal history, and talking points pulled from what Klipy already knows about the people on the call. This only appears when you have a meeting happening now or within about 30 minutes; otherwise the slot doesn’t show at all. Klipy can also send this same kind of prep by email ahead of external meetings — see How delegations work for the “Prep before meetings” delegation that sends it.While things load
The first time you open the home screen, or while Klipy is still gathering your data, you’ll see one of a few states instead of the finished briefing:- Loading skeleton — plain card-shaped outlines (a title bar over two body bars) stand in for each area while Klipy fetches your briefing. Nothing is broken; the real cards swap in as data arrives.
- No inbox connected yet — if you haven’t connected an email account, the whole briefing area is replaced with a single message: “It’s quiet in here — connect your inbox and calendar and I’ll surface the deals, drafts and to-dos hiding in them,” with a button to connect both in one step. See Connecting email and calendar.
- Reading your inbox — if you’ve connected an inbox and Klipy is still working through its first scan of your mail, the Needs review area shows “Reading your inbox… this can take a few minutes for large mailboxes” instead of suggestions, while the rest of the page (Next up, Meeting brief, Rest of day) still shows your real calendar data.
When to contact us
If your home screen stays on the loading skeleton for more than a few minutes, or Needs review keeps showing “Reading your inbox…” long after you’d expect your first scan to finish, reach out through the Get help option in Klipy’s Help menu. Mention roughly when you connected your inbox so the team can check what your import job actually did.Why does my home screen show different areas on different days?
