What Klipy does with your Zoom calls
Klipy's Zoom notetaker joins any confirmed meeting on your calendar that carries a Zoom link, appearing in the participant list under a name like "Jordan's Klipy" so nobody on the call is surprised later. It records the audio, builds a transcript, and detects the language spoken automatically.
Once the transcript lands, Klipy writes a recap of the call's key points and decisions, pulls out action items and drops them in your suggestions queue for review, drafts a follow-up that waits in your Drafts for approval before anything sends, and logs the call as an interaction on the right contact and company inside Klipy's CRM.
Calls also feed your deal's qualification scorecard, BANT, MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or SPICED, whichever your org runs, so you update it with what the conversation closed out instead of scrubbing back through the recording.

How it connects
Getting your Zoom notetaker running takes two settings inside Klipy. There's no Zoom account to log into and no separate Zoom card to connect.
First, connect email. The notetaker depends on the calendar bundled with your Gmail or Outlook connection under Settings, then Channels, so connecting email and calendar comes first. Without it, Klipy has no calendar to scan for Zoom links.
Then turn on the notetaker. Open Delegations and switch on Take meeting notes; its trigger is "when a confirmed meeting starts." From that point on, any confirmed meeting on your calendar with a Zoom link gets the bot automatically, with no Zoom sign-in involved. You still get per-meeting control. Click "Invite Klipy" (or "Invite Klipy Again") on a meeting card to send the bot manually, and if a specific call shouldn't be recorded, remove Klipy from it or opt it out before the call starts; re-inviting clears the exclusion. If the host doesn't admit Klipy from the waiting room, there's no audio for Klipy to work with, and pulling the bot mid-call limits Klipy to whatever it captured up to that point. There's no Zoom-specific reconnect or disconnect, because there's no Zoom-specific connection to break in the first place. If the underlying email connection lapses, Klipy flags it on Settings, then Channels, and sends a reconnect prompt; fixing that restores the calendar access the notetaker depends on. To stop the notetaker entirely, switch off "Take meeting notes" in Delegations; that one toggle also governs Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, since all three run through the same mechanism.
