What LinkedIn integration does
Klipy connects to LinkedIn through OAuth via Unipile, the same infrastructure that connects WhatsApp and Telegram. Once connected, your LinkedIn direct messages show up automatically in Klipy's Messaging pane, a social-only view alongside WhatsApp and Telegram (email lives in its own feed). Turning on CRM tracking for a chat, an opt-in toggle that's off by default, logs that conversation to the matching contact and company record and lets Klipy draft a follow-up for your approval.
Klipy shows direct messages in Messaging automatically. Logging a chat as a CRM interaction, and drafting a follow-up from it, only happens once you switch on CRM tracking for that chat. Klipy doesn't log your posts, comments, or likes as interactions. See what Klipy captures for the full scope.
How it connects
Connect
Go to Settings, then Channels, then LinkedIn, and click to connect. Klipy opens an authorization flow through Unipile: sign in with your LinkedIn credentials and approve the requested access. New direct messages start appearing in Messaging within a few minutes, and the first connection backfills roughly the last 30 days of DM history. Full steps: Connecting LinkedIn.
Reconnect
If a connection needs re-authorizing, open Settings, reconnect the account, and re-approve access through the same Unipile flow. Klipy resumes syncing once you grant access.
Disconnect
Disconnect from Settings, then Channels, then LinkedIn, then Disconnect, or revoke access directly from LinkedIn's own Data privacy settings. Disconnecting stops new messages from syncing.
