# How do I connect Telegram to Klipy?

> Connect Telegram to Klipy with phone-number authentication. Customer messages appear in Unibox so you can track and reply without leaving your CRM.

Connecting Telegram brings your customer and prospect **direct messages** into **Unibox** alongside email, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn. Klipy captures individual conversations—not group chats or channels.

Telegram connects via **phone number authentication through Unipile**, the same infrastructure used for WhatsApp and LinkedIn.

## Before you start

* You must have an active Telegram account.
* Have your phone nearby—Telegram sends a verification code via SMS or the Telegram app.
* Use the Telegram account where you have customer and prospect conversations.
