# What are the plans and limits?

> Free starts at 200 tokens a month. Paid plans bundle tokens per seat and pause at zero by default; lifetime plans set channel limits with unlimited seats.

Klipy bills per seat. Each seat comes with a monthly token allowance, and your account's total allowance is the sum of your seats' allowances.

## Plans

| Plan         | Price                | Tokens per seat / month | Seats     |
| ------------ | -------------------- | ----------------------- | --------- |
| Free         | \$0                  | 200 total               | 1         |
| Starter      | \$39 / seat / month  | 400                     | Up to 5   |
| Growth       | \$89 / seat / month  | 1,500                   | Unlimited |
| Professional | \$149 / seat / month | 4,000                   | Unlimited |
| Enterprise   | Custom               | Custom                  | Custom    |

<Note>
  Per-seat allowances shown here reflect the intended plan design. Your account's exact allowance is set on your subscription — check **Settings → Billing** for the number that applies to you.
</Note>

No paid plan (Starter, Growth, Professional) limits how many channels (inboxes, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, etc.) you can connect — unlimited channels is a paid-plan benefit. The [free plan](/docs/guides/billing/free-plan) is capped at 2 connected inboxes, and lifetime plans cap channels too, below. Tokens are the lever you scale on a paid plan — add seats for more people, or move up a tier for more tokens per seat.

## What happens if you run out

By default, Klipy never bills you past your included tokens. Once your account uses its full monthly allowance, token-consuming actions pause until your allowance resets at the start of the next billing cycle, or until you upgrade to a plan with more tokens. There's no charge to opt out of — overage simply isn't on unless you've asked for it.

Pay-per-use (overage) is available as an opt-in for accounts that want Klipy to keep delivering results past their included allowance, billed at a flat **\$0.10 per token**. It isn't self-serve today — contact support to enable it.

See [Managing your usage](/docs/guides/billing/managing-usage) for where to find your current usage and alerts.

## Lifetime plans (AppSumo)

Lifetime plans use a different limit: instead of tokens per seat, they cap the number of connected channels. Seats are unlimited on every lifetime tier.

| Tier            | Connected channels | Seats     | Tokens             |
| --------------- | ------------------ | --------- | ------------------ |
| Lifetime Tier 1 | 1                  | Unlimited | Included allowance |
| Lifetime Tier 2 | 3                  | Unlimited | Included allowance |
| Lifetime Tier 3 | 10                 | Unlimited | Unlimited          |

Lifetime Tier 3 is unlimited on every dimension except its 10-channel cap — no token allowance to track, no overage to configure.

<Note>
  Included token allowances for Lifetime Tier 1 and Tier 2 are set on your subscription. Check **Settings → Billing** for your exact number.
