# What are common billing questions?

> Common billing questions: whether rejected drafts cost tokens, what happens at zero, how to cancel, refunds, and which plans include unlimited tokens.

Klipy only charges tokens at moments you explicitly approve, such as accepting a suggestion, sending a draft, or running a delegation, and pauses work instead of billing further once you've used your included tokens. Rejected drafts, your own edits, and plan changes stay free; overage is opt-in only.

## Will Klipy ever bill me without warning?

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Will I get a surprise bill?">
    No. Every charge lands only at a moment you approved — accepting a suggestion, sending a draft, running a delegation. On top of that, Klipy warns you in-app (and by email as you approach your monthly allotment), and by default overage is off: if you use up your included tokens, Klipy pauses instead of billing you further. There's no way to rack up charges you didn't see coming.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if I reject Klipy's work?">
    It's free. Rejecting a suggestion, letting a draft expire, or previewing a sandbox run never consumes a token. A failed run doesn't charge either. You only pay when you say yes to something Klipy delivers.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Klipy charge for editing my own records?">
    No. Creating or updating contacts, companies, deals, pipelines, and notes yourself — through the app or manually inside a delegation — is free. So is writing or rewriting a message with Klipy's AI assistance when you're the one who sends it. Klipy only charges for work it delivers autonomously, or for things with real external cost.

## How do I manage my plan, overage, and tokens?

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What's an overage and how do I turn it off?">
    You don't need to — overage is off by default. Once you've used your plan's included tokens, Klipy pauses token-consuming actions until your next billing cycle or an upgrade, instead of billing you further. Overage (pay-per-use past your included tokens, at a flat **\$0.10 per token**) exists as an opt-in for accounts that want Klipy to keep working without pausing, but it isn't self-serve today — contact support if you want it enabled.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change plans?">
    Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from **Settings → Billing** — no long-term commitment required.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there annual billing?">
    Not today. Klipy's paid plans are billed monthly.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I get more tokens?">
    Upgrade to a higher plan, or earn bonus tokens for free — referring a colleague earns you 200 tokens when they convert to a paid plan. See [Managing your usage](/docs/guides/billing/managing-usage) for the details.
