# What counts as a connected channel?

> A connected channel is any email account, social inbox, or messaging app you've linked to Klipy. Each one counts toward your plan's channel limit.

A **connected channel** is any account or inbox you've linked to Klipy — whether that's an email account, your LinkedIn messages, WhatsApp, or another supported integration. Each connected channel occupies one slot in your plan's channel limit.

## What counts as one channel

Each of the following counts as one connected channel:

| Channel type | Example                  | Counts as |
| ------------ | ------------------------ | --------- |
| Email inbox  | Gmail or Outlook account | 1 channel |
| LinkedIn     | Your LinkedIn messages   | 1 channel |
| WhatsApp     | Your WhatsApp number     | 1 channel |
| Telegram     | Your Telegram account    | 1 channel |

<Note>
  If you connect one Gmail account and one LinkedIn account, that uses 2 of your plan's channel slots.
</Note>

## How many channels does my plan include?

Channel limits vary by plan tier. To see your current usage and limits, go to **Settings → Billing**. You can also find the full breakdown on the [pricing page](https://klipy.ai/pricing).

## Disconnecting a channel

Disconnecting a channel frees up that slot in your plan. Existing data (contacts, conversation history) that was already synced into Klipy is not deleted when you disconnect. To disconnect, go to **Settings → Integrations**, find the channel, and click **Disconnect**.
